La pieza, que se estren\u00f3 en el Festival de Jerez en 2015, ha girado por prestigiosos teatros como el Sadler&#8217;s Wells londinense. En 2024\u00a0<em><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">La Leona<\/span><\/em>, primer cap\u00edtulo de la trilog\u00eda inspirada en las guitarras del luthier Antonio de Torres, llegar\u00e1 al Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Chaillot de Par\u00eds (2 y 3 de febrero) y al Mercat de les Flors de Barcelona (18 y 19 de enero). <em><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">La Materia<\/span><\/em>, segunda parte de este tr\u00edptico y pieza creada junto al tambi\u00e9n Premio Nacional de Danza Daniel Abreu, se presenta en el Festival de N\u00eemes (10 de enero), en los Teatros del Canal (del 12 al 14 de enero) y en el Mercat de les Flors (20 y 21 de enero).\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #565656;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><b><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #565656;\">La leona<\/span><\/b><\/em><strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #565656;\"> y <\/span><\/strong><em><b><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #565656;\">La materia<\/span><\/b><\/em><strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #565656;\">, viaje a las ra\u00edces del flamenco<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #565656;\">La Materia<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #565656;\">\u00a0es el segundo cap\u00edtulo de la trilog\u00eda que Olga Pericet ha iniciado con <em><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">La Leona<\/span><\/em> y que acabar\u00e1 con <em><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">La Invencible<\/span><\/em>. Un tr\u00edptico que se inspira en las c\u00e9lebres guitarras concebidas por Antonio de Torres, el m\u00edtico luthier almeriense del siglo XIX.\u00a0 Si <em><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">La Leona<\/span><\/em> miraba a la guitarra desde fuera, <em><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">La Materia<\/span><\/em> lo hace desde dentro, evocando la madera, el olor, el sonido y el silencio. \u00abHay una frase de Atahualpa Yupanqui que me persigui\u00f3 desde el principio\u00bb -explica Pericet- \u00abLa guitarra antes de ser instrumento fue \u00e1rbol y en \u00e9l cantaban los p\u00e1jaros\u00bb. Para la Premio Nacional de Danza 2018, <em><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">La Materia<\/span><\/em> supone un gran cambio en su trayectoria, recoge ecos de toda su carrera, pero propone \u00abuna nueva forma de mirar\u00bb. A este viaje se ha unido el tambi\u00e9n Premio Nacional de Danza Daniel Abreu, con el que Pericet comparte interpretaci\u00f3n y direcci\u00f3n esc\u00e9nica. Un proceso creativo que, en palabras de Abreu, \u00abcomenz\u00f3 con un encuentro en una cafeter\u00eda que deriv\u00f3 en una conversaci\u00f3n de casi tres horas. Olga me ha ense\u00f1ado c\u00f3mo comprender el flamenco, un lenguaje del que yo no vengo. He aprendido que al fin y al cabo lo que estamos haciendo es danza, contar una historia a trav\u00e9s de los cuerpos. Y lo hacemos desde un lugar \u00edntimo, que busca los or\u00edgenes: la materia, la idea, la inspiraci\u00f3n, la madera, el suelo\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #565656;\">Olga Pericet<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #565656;\"><br \/>\nRecibe en 2018 el Premio Nacional de Danza en la modalidad de Interpretaci\u00f3n por su \u00abcapacidad de aunar las\u00a0distintas disciplinas de la danza espa\u00f1ola, actualiz\u00e1ndolas en un lenguaje interpretativo con sello propio\u00bb y por \u00absu versatilidad esc\u00e9nica y su valiosa capacidad de transmisi\u00f3n\u00bb. Ha sido galardonada tambi\u00e9n con el Premio Max de las Artes Esc\u00e9nicas a la Mejor Int\u00e9rprete Femenina 2020 y con\u00a0el Premio Escenario ACE Awards Nueva York 2016 (Asociaci\u00f3n de Cronistas de Espect\u00e1culos de Nueva York).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #565656;\">Entre sus trabajos se encuentran <em><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">La Leona<\/span><\/em>,\u00a0<em><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Un cuerpo infinito<\/span><\/em>, <em><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">La espina que quiso ser flor o la flor que so\u00f1\u00f3 con ser bailaora<\/span><\/em>\u00a0(2017), que le vali\u00f3 el Premio de la critica especializada y la c\u00e1tedra de flamencolog\u00eda del festival de Jerez;\u00a0<em><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">FLAMENCO (Untitled)<\/span><\/em>, estrenada en el Repertorio Espa\u00f1ol de Nueva York en 2015;\u00a0<em><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Pisadas, fin y principio de mujer<\/span><\/em>\u00a0(2014), por el que fue nominada al Premio Max a la Mejor Int\u00e9rprete Femenina de Danza;\u00a0<em><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">De una pieza,<\/span><\/em>\u00a0estrenado en 2012; y\u00a0<em><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Rosa Metal Ceniza<\/span><\/em>\u00a0(2011), su primer trabajo en solitario.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: impact, sans-serif;\">\u00a9 Cultproject.
