Poema de Gabriela Mistral<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Como escuchase un llanto, me par\u00e9 en el repecho<\/p>\n

y me acerqu\u00e9 a la puerta del rancho del camino.<\/p>\n

Un ni\u00f1o de ojos dulces me mir\u00f3 desde el lecho<\/p>\n

\u00a1y una ternura inmensa me embriag\u00f3 como un vino!…<\/p>\n

La madre se tard\u00f3,curvada en el barbecho;<\/p>\n

el ni\u00f1o, al despertar, busc\u00f3el pez\u00f3n de rosa<\/p>\n

yrompi\u00f3 en llanto…Yo lo estreche contra el pecho,<\/p>\n

yuna canci\u00f3n de cuna me subi\u00f3, temblorosa…<\/p>\n

Por la ventana abierta, la luna nos miraba.<\/p>\n

El ni\u00f1o ya dorm\u00eda, y la canci\u00f3n ba\u00f1aba,<\/p>\n

como otro resplandor, mi pecho eneriquecido…<\/p>\n

Ycuando la mujer, tr\u00e9mula, abri\u00f3 la puerta,<\/p>\n

me ver\u00eda en el rostro tanta venturacierta,<\/p>\n

\u00a1que me dej\u00f3al infante en los brazos dormido!<\/p>\n

Gabriela Mistal.\u00a0<\/strong>(1884-1956)<\/p>\n

Su verdadero nombre era Lucila Godoy Alcoyaga<\/strong><\/em>. En 1945 se le otorg\u00f3 el Premio Nobel de Literatura.<\/p>\n

Su original temperamento, extra\u00f1a fusi\u00f3n de fuerza y de ternura; la nota pat\u00e9tica y la nota delicada que vibran en su poes\u00eda, hacen de la maestra chilena una de las m\u00e1s excepcionantes figuras no ya de la literatura hispano-americana, sino de toda la poes\u00eda en lengua castellana.<\/p>\n
