El thriller franc\u00f3fono\u00a0Les chambres rouges<\/em>\u00a0(Red Rooms<\/em>), el largometraje de anime\u00a0The First Slam Dunk\u00a0<\/em>y el thriller ucraniano antib\u00e9lico\u00a0Stay Online\u00a0<\/em>fueron algunas de las pel\u00edculas premiadas por el jurado en Fantasia Fest 2023.<\/p>\n

En la competencia principal, titulada Cheval Noir, Pascal Plante recibi\u00f3 mucho amor por su pel\u00edcula\u00a0Les chambres rouges<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>que sigue a una mujer obsesionada por el sonado caso de un asesino en serie. El filme obtuvo Mejor Pel\u00edcula, Guion, Actuaci\u00f3n y Score Original.<\/p>\n

Otra pel\u00edcula muy premiada fue\u00a0Femme<\/em><\/strong>, thriller sobre un artista drag que, meses despu\u00e9s de haber sido brutalmente atacado, intenta enamorar a su atacante, un violento pandillero que reprime su homosexualidad, para vengarse. Su protagonista Nathan Stewart-Jarrett obtuvo Mejor Actuaci\u00f3n, mientras que Sam H. Freeman & Ng Choon se quedaron con Mejor Direcci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
