Bonmat\u00ed, basada en la edici\u00f3n cr\u00edtica de Roger Aubrey Baskerville Mynors (Oxford, Clarendon Press, 1969). Esta traducci\u00f3n conjuga la fidelidad al original latino con un lenguaje lo m\u00e1s natural posible, en el que se vale de los endecas\u00edlabos, con un ritmo sonoro m\u00e1s suave y flexible, para facilitar la lectura. Con objeto de lograr la comprensi\u00f3n inmediata de esta epopeya sobre la creaci\u00f3n de Roma, se incluyen breves aclaraciones y notas al margen que favorecen la comprensi\u00f3n y ayudan al lector a no perderse nunca en este viaje apasionante de la mano de Eneas, el h\u00e9roe que, tras alcanzar las costas de Italia, emprendi\u00f3 su conquista.
